Showing you a new technique of decorating a wine glass using
Craftyscrappers(pear-finish) shimmer paint and Chalk paints.
Im sure, you all are pretty excited about our craft challenges, which is ongoing for this lovely month of February,
Challenge#20,”LOVE IS IN THE AIR”.
You can create Cards, layouts, a journal page, Canvases, interactive/3D cards,
mixed media, altered art, Flower Crafts …anything crafty,With the colors of love in it!
But keep in mind, Craftyscrappers products as focus.

To make this decorated wine glass, I have used,
Craftyscrappers Chalk paint- “BABY’S LULLABY“
Craftyscrappers Matt-finish, acrylic chalk paints are ideal for mixed media projects and home-decor.The consistency of these Chalk paints are perfect to use with brushes, rollers and sponges to create beautiful textures.
Along with Craftyscrappers shimmer paint(pearl-finish)-
“ROYAL BABY“
These paints are water based acrylic Shimmer paints that are non-Toxic,great for adding shimmer that will jazz up all your craft,mixed media and home-decor projects and are permanent once dry.
A BRIEF TUTORIAL
- Cover the entire surface of the wine glass by dabbing the chalk paint with a sponge all over the surface.
- Here i have used Craftyscrappers Chalk paint- Babys lullaby.
- Repeat the coats to get even finish.
- Let dry.
- Next wind the satin ribbon all around the stem of the glass.
- Stick the ends to avoid unwinding.
- Add gesso to some flowers and later cover them with the shimmer paint.
- Here i have used Craftyscrappers Shimmer paint(pearl-finnish)- Royal Baby.
- Repeat the process for the chipboard pieces.
- Assemble all the pieces on the glass.
- Lastly, add few filler flowers to complete the decoration.
