GORGEOUS MIXED MEDIA CARDS: avideo tutorial!

Hello everyone!!
Archana here! and I am so happy to be on board with Craftyscrappers as their Design team member.I feel so proud that there is an Indian company who make their own products line like stamps, stencils, shimmer pastes,shimmer sprays,shimmer paints,chalk paints,fun foils and so much more, and you can imagine how excited I was when I found out there is a design team selection in my skill set.
Would love to thanks each and everyone of the team. that made it happen!

So today i am here, with my first DT post, where ill be teaching you, how you can create awesome mixed media cards using Craftyscrappers latest products.

 

But Before moving on with my video tutorial, let me share with you my

I am so in love with the products, the Stamps are one of a kind,with beautiful designs and are of high quality, the shimmer sprays are a must have, such vibrant colors they are available in, with the touch of shimmer ,jazzes up makes each and every project, The stencils are super quality with amazing designs, a crafter has the option to select the sizes, whether small or big, then there’s their New product-shimmer paints,available both Gold-touch and pearl-finish gives awesome results, and can be used in a variety of projects, I love coloring with them, using them on my mixed media projects and also love splashing them on my craft projects to add the special shimmer and shine! And the

So moving back to my Video tutorial now…
The valentine month is up and its the perfect time to make something special for your special someone, so I have these beautiful mixed media cards(start-to-finish) to share with you today, and i will also show you how you can use craftyscrappers products along with the supplies at your stash to create one of a kind pieces.

In my tutorial, I have used Both the February released stamp set,
“Adventure Awaits”

And “Everything Magical”,

i just love, love love the designs of the these stamps.
And Craftyscrappers are the first ones, to come up with such fairy tale themes in India.
Both superbly designed by Pritusha Banerjee.
Absolutely love them!

A BRIEF TUTORIAL:

• First to create the base or my mixed media heart shaped card, i used the water color paper.
• Also cut 2 card bases in black cardstock to hold my watercolor heart pieces for the two cards.
• Stenciled the water color heart panels using, Craftyscrappers Stencils- “HEARTS” and “RAYS” along with the chalk paints.
• Stamped both the stamp sets from Craftyscrappers, “everything magical” and “Adventure Awaits” on water color paper.fuzzy ct them
• For the chipboard frame, i have used,Craftyscrappers shimmer paints(gold-touch)- “TASTY CRANBERRY” and ,Craftyscrappers shimmer paints(Pearl-finish)- “PEACOCK FEATHERS” and have added micro beads to decorate the piece.
• To create the base of the water color panel i have used, Craftyscrappers Shimmer Sprays-” Lushy orchid” and “sweet sunshine” which added the beautiful shimmer to my cards.
• I have also applied a coat of Craftyscrappers Chalk paints-“zesty lilac” and “Sweet tearose” on the chipboard frame to create dimension.
• Finish off my cards by stamping the beautifully co-ordinated sentiments from the stamp sets.
