Vani here today, on craftyscrappers blog with an inspiration project for you all
using Craftyscrappers super shimmery, shimmer sprays…
for our December challenge embossing .
I had so much fun creating this using Craftyscrappers Shimmer sprays and the effect was astounding to my surprise!
These Shimmer sprays are water-based and are water reactive too,
which is great to use on paper & other porous surfaces.
They come in fantastic range of Colors.
The shimmer in these sprays adds the touch of beauty to your craft projects.
You can use these directly or you can even mist them
with water to lighten the color variation.
These are ideal for mixed media, DIY & other crafting projects.

You can create any project using embossing technique.
This embossing can be in any form,wet or dry,on stamps,through stencils or pastes.
it can be a layout, a journal page, a simple card, interactive cards,
mixed media canvas or project, altered art, anything crafty!

Okay so moving on to the tutorial now…
Let me share a picture of the Embossed mix media card that i made:
A brief tutorial:
- I took a pattern paper and applied gesso on it.
- After it was dry , I applied texture paste with stencil and added Lindy’s white embossing powder on it and heat set.
- After that I took Craftyscrappers shimmer spray sweet pumpkin and grape juice and sprayed on top of it.
- Once dried, I embellished it using some mulberry flowers from the store
- I added Craftyscrappers shimmer spray grape juice along with the sweet pumpkin shimmer spray on mulberry flowers to enhance the beauty.
- And the card is ready.
