Hello friends
This is Vani and i am back again on craftyscrappers blog with a new project,
which is a mix media card Using Craftyscrappers Shimmer Sprays.

Untitled-3.jpg

I had so much fun creating this using Craftyscrappers Shimmer sprays and the effect was  astounding to my surprise!
These Shimmer sprays are water-based and are water reactive too,
which is great to use on paper & other porous surfaces.
They come in fantastic range of Colors.
The shimmer in these sprays adds the touch of beauty to your craft projects.
You can use these directly or you can even mist them
with water to lighten the color variation.
These are ideal for mixed media, DIY & other crafting projects

Okay, so lets begin the Tutorial:
step1

First I took a Craftyscrappers premium white card stock and  sized it to 6 by7 inch.
And added two strips of patter paper to it  and assured it with tape on .
Then I applied one coat of gesso on it and let it air dry.

step2

After that I took,Craftyscrappers  mini stencil-Bricks and  shimmer spray-grape juice and mixed in texture paste to create a raised brick pattern.
Next I applied glue on the stencil and applied Craftyscrappers fun foil-Sizzling Silver sheet on to my textured brick pattern.
Then i burnished it with my fingers and removed the foil.
the effect is so beautiful.. check it out!

step3

After that I took a MDF window cutout and applied gesso on it and let it ir dry.
after it was dry I applied Inka gold to give it a golden Vintage look.
Next i applied glue on top of the golden window and applied, Craftyscrappers fun foil-Sizzling Silver sheet on to it.This created a beautiful silver and gold textured look.
(This is how it looked)

step4

After that I took some mulberry flower which is from the Craftyscrappers store and applied The Shimmer spray-Grape Juice on it.
Once dry,  I took the die cut sentiment-YOU N ME and applied glue on to it for foiling.
I just wanted a nice grungy coverage onto the die cut and the foils really made it look so shiny and  perfect.

step5

Once everything was done, i decorate it with flowers, added another sentiment, “i love you” and assembled the shimmer sprayed, brick pattern background and the fun foiled sentiment.
