Challenge #3:”RAINBOW”

Hello friends!

Konica here today at the blog and welcome back to craftyscrappers challenge post.

So for  this fabulous month of AUGUST we decided to go with the
challenge, “RAINBOW“

 

 

You can create Cards, layouts, a journal page, Canvases, interactive/3D cards,
mixed media, altered art…anything crafty!!! with the colors of Rainbow in it.
But keep in mind, Craftyscrappers products as focus.

Hello friends!
Nandini here, Creative designer at craftyscrappers and today i am here to share two cards that i made with our ongoing challenge theme: “RAINBOW“, where you can make anything that fits the theme.

I was so excited that I ended up making two cards. For both cards I have used Tim Holtz’s mini distress inks Dusty Concord, Faded Jeans, Mermaid Lagoon, Twisted Citron, Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade and Barn Door.

CARD#1: RAINBOW BACKGROUND CARD

 

 

A BRIEF TUTORIAL:

 

1. I used the distress inks to ink up my Rose Lace background stamp by Impression Obsession, lightly spritzed with water and then stamped on watercolour paper.
2. The butterfly die cut is from the goodie bag. I heat embossed it with gold and copper EP.
3. The sentiment stamp is custom made. Some pearls from my stash finished the card.

 

 

CARD#2: RAINBOW BACKGROUND STAMP CARD

 

The second card is square and I used the Dotted Floral background stamp by Impression Obsession with the same technique as the first.

 

A BRIEF TUTORIAL:

 

1. I used the beautiful label die cut (DC-FR-17) from the goodie bag.
2. I painted it black and then simply stamped and heat embossed with gold EP.
3. A narrow, black ribbon finished the look.
