Today i am here to share with you all, some fun shimmer pastes and glitter alphabet and number stickers projects that are newly launched by craftyscrappers.
These inspiration projects will sure to inspire you to create some stunning projects and to join in our ongoing challenge#27: “spirit of Christmas” which is ongoing over our facebook page.
In my Dec DT kit, I received the festive Christmas colors of shimmer pastes.
These colors are so amazing and sparkly.
I decided to use blue and green for creating a sort of ombre effect through my favorite stencil Starburst.
This is one of my favorite color combination and gives such a cool effect.
The shimmer paste is so easy to spread and the glitter is well distributed,
so you only need to put one layer of it to get all the sparkle.
I do recommend that you move the shimmer paste with your palette knife just a little, to ensure that everything in the jar is all mixed properly.
So here are my two projects :
CARD#1: SHIMMER PASTE, STENCIL BACKGROUND CARD
A BRIEF TUTORIAL:
- I used a silver foil cardstock for the base
- Used shimmer paste- SILENT NIGHT and
shimmer paste– Christmas tree forming and ombre loo. - once the paste was all dry, I die cut it with an oval die.
- And created two cards with the two pieces.
- The first piece with the oval center removed, i stamped the sentiment, “HAPPY NEW YEAR” from craftyscrappers mini stamp set,” happy new year“
- And finished my card.

CARD#2: GLITTER NUMBER STICKER CARD
A BRIEF TUTORIAL:
- For my second card, i used the leftover oval piece from my previous card
- And added the “Parrot green” -GLITTER NUMBER STICKER onto it.
- For the base of my card, i used craftyscrappers Blue cardstock along with, premium white cardstock.
- I also added a green ribbon at the back of my oval die cut to decorate and match the card colors.
- Hand-lettered the sentiment “happy birthday” and finished my card.

I love both these cards and I think shimmer pastes have so much potential!
