But before I start, let me tell you our challenge for the months of DECEMBER is ongoing, over our Facebook page.
Challenge#27:SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS
Don’t forget to join us in, for a chance to win exciting prizes!!!
So here are my Shimmery Christmas-y Tree Ornaments
A BRIEF TUTORIAL:
- Take the mdf cut outs of the ornaments.
- For the Xmas tree I applied the Christmas tree shimmer paste with my finger and applied the Granular Texture paste just at the edges to give me snow effect.
- this granular paste has the perfect snowy consistency and looks very pretty.
- Similarly I applied Jungle bells shimmer paste on the star ornament, stamped, colored and fussy cut the reindeer from “let it snow” stamp set and foam mounted it in the middle.
- For the stocking, I applied Poinsettia shimmer paste and sprinkled Shaker element-Summer mango and Shaker element-It’s a boy on it while it was wet and lightly dabbed it so that it gets embedded into the paste.
- For the reindeer I mixed the Pinewood shimmer paste and jingle bells shimmer paste and applied it on the surface.
- I stamped the sentiment from “let it snow” stamp set and put it at the bottom of the base.
- These shimmer pastes are just too pretty and of perfect consistency to create these lovey ornaments!
Now you won’t have to buy the ornaments..you can create yours in a jiffy with these shimmer pastes!
Here is how they turned out:
