To win the amazing goodie bags !
I took 10 inch circle shaped MDF board, and prime it using gesso, but instead of using brush, i used palate knife to apply gesso, this way will have texture on the surface, it is the best way to create texture on any surface easily, Next I pasted Skewer Sticks, Backings of canvas and some other wooden embellishments,
this is how it looks :
Further I added some more embellishments like Mini Metal gears, Wooden keys, Pebbles & flat back pearls, Then I covered everything using gesso again.
After everything dries completely. I colored entire project using Craftyscrappers shimmer sprays named “Ocean waves“, “Sweet sunshine“, “Rusty Denim“, “Lushy orchid” after I finish the spraying before it gets dried I tilted the project little bit so this way all the color flew & blend into each other nicely .. these sprays are so amazing that it goes on any surface as you can see here.
I stamped the image from stamp set called “Feathers” and colored the image using acrylic paints. I Just love this stamp set and its perfect focal point for any mixed media project or even cards.
I added image to the project and to lift the image bit upwards I glue down some cardboard pieces behind the image and paste that on project, you can used double sided foam tape for this process too, And to give more shimmer and sparkle I apply Shimmer paint metallic lustre “Bronze” using dry brush technique, and voila!! this is final & glorious look of the finished Project.
Here are some close up pictures of this project
