Here’s a look at my cards!
CARD #1: Birthday Card
(word creation technique)
A BRIEF TUTORIAL:
- On a watercolour card panel, I stamped the “BIRTHDAY” word using Craftyscrappers Simple alphabets set and coloured them with zig markers.
- Stamped the remaining sentiment.
- On another card, I stamped the images, colored them with zig markers and fussy cut them.
- On a colored card base I mounted the panel with the sentiments using foam adhesive.
- Next, using foam adhesive, mounted the images on the card.I have kept this card very simple.
SOME CLOSE-UPS:
CARD #2: Birthday Card
(Background creation technique)
A BRIEF TUTORIAL:
- On a white card panel, I stamped the image using grey ink repeatedly to cover the entire panel.
- Stamped the image, colored with zig markers and fussy cut it.
- Heat embossed the sentiment using Versa mark and white embossing powder.
- I wanted the background to be very subtle, so using a sheet of vellum, I covered the entire panel from the front and tuck the ends of the vellum under the panel (So I need not stick on the front as the adhesive will be seen through vellum)
- Mounted this panel on a colored card base using foam adhesive.
- Mounted the image and the sentiment on the vellum.
- Lastly, added few enamel dots and googly eyes to the chameleon to complete my card.
SOME CLOSE-UPS:
That’s all from my end!
